Cauliflower and Potato Puree

Although a bit different from what I normally cook, It is really good.  The recipe is below, give it a try.  I'm sure you will like it!

2 cups mashed potatoes
5-1/2 cups coarsely chopped cauliflower, about 1 small head
1/2 cup milk
6 garlic cloves
1 bay leaf
3 Table Spoons of  butter
1 Teaspoon of salt

Heat potatoes; keep warm. Cook cauliflower in boiling water 7 minutes or until tender; drain.

Place milk, garlic and bay leaf in small pot; bring to simmer. Cover and cook over low heat 10 minutes. Discard bay leaf. Place cauliflower, milk (with garlic), butter and salt in processor. Puree until smooth, scraping down sides. Combine potatoes with cauliflower mixture in large bowl and stir until blended.

I'm trying this tonight! Does it go well with anything else? Like chicken or something?

It goes great with most meats. I served it with some orange chicken for dinner.
