Groovy Hip Hop Baby!
I feel so bad for those who don't hear what I hear nor feel what I feel when I hear certain Hip Hop songs. You know, that kind of Marvin Gaye- "Turn Off The Lights" kind of vibe. How did you feel when you 1st heard A Tribe Called Quest- Bonita Applebum? I was wishing I was swaying right along with them in the video. I understand the politics of radio and record labels which, makes me love (free) Satellite and Internet Radio stations, but what's coming out of the air waves is sickening, literally. I won't even go into seeing children imitate the music videos. So I offer you this alternative:

A letter to my Old Earth
My Grandma passed away. I didn't have the chance to say goodbye in person so....
A face that is always on my mind,
A smile I have seen a million times,
Two eyes that would light up the sky at night,
One last battle you could not fight,
The day was long, then night then morn.
I knew that soon you would be gone,
I clasped your hand so warm in mind,
Soon we would be out of time,
To stay with us you fought so hard,
A million pieces went my heart,
Now a photo I look at to see your smile,
I keep your name on my speed dial,
A mental video to hear your voice,
This I do.... I have no choice.,
But great memories I will always keep with me,

Hatervision: Hulu in Japan from my living room!
Hulu may not have a new owner yet, but it does have an international presence now that it has come to Japan! I was scanning through the video app channels on my Sony Bravia and noticed a new icon. Upon further inspection, I realized it was the Hulu icon! Here is a video of the Hulu experience in Japan:

Pepper Spray happy NYPD Deputy Inspector Is punished…not really
Deputy Inspector Anthony Bologna is one Lucky S.O.B. (SMH!)
He gets docked 10 vacation days, or the equivalent amount of pay for this:
C'mon, This guy pepper sprays a bunch of corralled and surrounded unarmed young females and all he gets is a slap on the wrist!? That is so wrong I almost find it funny (ALMOST). Unfortunately police brutality in the real world isn’t as funny. What’s even more unfunny than that? Police getting away with it. Which is what happened in this case. Follow the link to read more:

Never Stop Fighting for Justice and We will Win!
Is murder all we know? Who is safe? Are you not afraid of a Government who kills without compulsion or compassion?
A nation that is so consumed by vengeance and blind to Christ's exhortation to mercy cannot call itself Christian nor Civilized.
What part of "Thou shall not kill..." Do we not understand.. An eye for an eye makes the whole world go blind!

Below is an excerpt of letter from Troy Davis who was executed on September 21, 2011 in the state of Georgia in one of the most controversial death penalty cases of the century:
Thank you and remember I am in a place where execution can only destroy your physical form but because of my faith in God, my family and all of you I have been spiritually free for some time and no matter what happens in the days, weeks to come, this Movement to end the death penalty, to seek true justice, to expose a system that fails to protect the innocent must be accelerated. There are so many more Troy Davis’. This fight to end the death penalty is not won or lost through me but through our strength to move forward and save every innocent person in captivity around the globe. We need to dismantle this Unjust system city by city, state by state and country by country. I can’t wait to Stand with you, no matter if that is in physical or spiritual form, I will one day be announcing, “I AM TROY DAVIS, and I AM FREE!” Never Stop Fighting for Justice and We will Win!

Tokyo Game Show 2011
Went to check out TGS 2011 and let me tell you, There were some really interesting things to be seen there. Unfortunately, they had most of it under a "No picture, No video" shut down but, I captured what I could. For the meantime, enjoy these shots of some of the CosPlay characters, game settings(what I could sneak shots of anyway) and my excursion to the Vietnam festival after the game show. I have tons more of photos and video to edit so stay tuned!
